Supercell’s Brawl Stars Earned $200 Million In Q1 2019

This turned out to be a great year so far for mobile developer Supercell.

Sensor Tower mobile research company reported that the studio made $200 million from the game which has been launched back on December 12 for Android and iOS.

The free multiplayer game features cute heroes who are fighting each other in a variety of 3-on-3 competitive modes.

According to the new data, Brawl Stars has been gaining momentum steadily over the past few months. Just think about the fact that it managed to earn $50 million only in January.

Also, for Q1 2018, Brawl Stars earned more money than Supercell’s previous blockbuster hits.

Brawl Stars is no.11 on Sensor Tower’s global revenue rankings, Clash of Clans is no.12, and Clash Royale is no.22.

It’s worth noting also that Brawl Stars managed to gather more than 86 million players across both mobile platforms that we mentioned above.

The biggest markets for the game are reportedly the US where players have spent $42 million and South Korea where players have reportedly spent $38 million.

What do we know about the Brawl Stars update?

The Brawl Stars dev team is not huge, so they cannot prepare massive monthly updates, but they’re keeping the game in check and fix any reported issues.

Not too long ago, we reported that Ryan, a dev team member, and community manager recently released an announcement and there were also some comments on Reddit that might have hinted to the next update. Here’s the announcement from Ryan that points towards the next update:

“No Brawl Talk for the next couple weeks. We’re still busy working on the update!”

On Reddit, one user replied: “next couple WEEKS??? why? are they planning to drop a massive update?”

So, get ready for an update because it’s definitely in the works. Stay tuned for more updates on the game.
