NordVPN is a security and internet privacy VPN app that helps effortlessly secure your connection whether on public WiFi or if you just need to keep your identity hidden while online.
The app, which is available on Google Play Store, allows you to connect to more than 5000 fast servers in more than 60 countries, with military-grade encryption for data security.
You can secure 5 or more devices simultaneously using a NordVPN account, and enjoy apps for Android, and other platforms, plus proxy VPN extensions for Firefox and Chrome browsers.
While it has all these cool features and tight security for its users, NordVPN sometimes can pose challenges in terms of its use. Some users have complained that the app keeps forgetting logins on Android or keeps asking for the correct password every time.
This can happen after days or weeks even after you signed in before. Some users have even been logging in with correct credentials but after pressing the Quick Connect option, it prompts them to login again over and over.
Why NordVPN Says Your Username or Password Is Incorrect
If the NordVPN app on Android keeps forgetting your login credentials or asks for them, there are a few reasons that cause the error.
Try and log in on their website under My Account, and if successful, change your password to not have any special characters.
If that doesn’t work, use the password reset form. If you don’t get an email with the password reset link in five minutes time, contact NordVPN customer support to find your account.
If this is your situation, and you know you’re keying in the correct login, there are a few other things you can try and see if it resolves the problem.
Check your NordVPN account
If your account is active and you still cannot log in to use the service, check with the NordVPN support team. They can also confirm your account status for you and check other issues like network settings, or app configuration and more.
Use a Password Manager
A password manager helps circumvent this issue by keeping your details secure so you and the app don’t worry about forgetting them. This is a future-proof, secure way of saving your passwords.
