Even though Huawei is going through some turbulent times right now, there’s still a lot more to look forward to, and much more to do with your Huawei P30 or P30 Pro phone

If you happened to purchase either one of these gadgets owing to the impressive camera, you’re probably also having to endure the EMUI issues that come along with it.

While there are plenty of customization options available for users, there are several issues such as push notifications not working in the P30 series of phones.

This is both a deal breaker and huge issue for many users, especially first time owners of the Huawei P30 or P30 Pro devices.

The EMUI skin has evolved over the last three or so years, but it still falls short when it comes to push notifications, which have been an issue for quite some time now. In fact, its aggressive memory management has come under fire for this problem.

You’ll find that either the push notifications from particular apps won’t be displayed or all the background services are disabled after a few hours if the screen has been off.

Nothing can be more disappointing or frustrating than not receiving notifications from installed apps as this also affects most users’ workflows as they rely on such for work.

Huawei’s skin is known to aggressively take power management and prioritize battery life over other processes, so it kills apps that run in the background so they don’t send the notifications.

However, only specific apps from its aggressive memory management are on its whitelist, making sure you get notifications from important apps like Hangouts, or WhatsApp and others.

But this isn’t enough for all users of the P30 or P30 Pro, or other Huawei phone owners, who have decried the same issue.

Thankfully, you can fix the push notifications issue in your Huawei P30 or P30 Pro using a few easy steps as described here below and get your notifications back for all installed apps.
