Google Unveils The New Gaming Streaming Platform “Stadia”, The Netflix Of Gaming

We were recently reporting that Google seems to be getting into gaming, and everyone has been really curious about what they have in store.

By now, Google has been mostly known for the highly popular search engine and the Android operating system.

A few days ago, it was reported that Google plans to revolutionize the $100 billion gaming industry which has been dominated for a long time by other giant names including Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo.

A few days ago, CNBC said that Google would present “its vision for the “future of gaming” during its Game Developers Conference (GDC) presentation on Tuesday in San Francisco.”

Well, the time has come, and Google finally made their exciting announcement.

Introducing Stadia

Google revealed its new streaming platform called Stadia.

It will be working similarly to Netflix, and the difference will reportedly be the fact that instead of TV shows and movies, Stadia is going to offer users access to all the latest games for the console and PC as well.

The tech giant believes that Stadia will gap the bridge between the PC and console gaming.

The platform will also make all the latest AAA titles available for the games who don’t necessarily have the means to get high-end PCs or consoles. We all know the price tags that these can sport sometimes.

Main features

The only thing you will need to use Stadia will be a good Internet connection. Stadia will come with a few features that are designed explicitly for streamers.

Users will be able to interact directly with their viewers, and they will also have the ability to open a queue where viewers can join in order to play a match with the streamer.

There’s also a rumored feature of Stadia which will allow viewers to start a new game and load a save file.

Google did not say anything about the price of this exciting platform yet.
