How to remap the Bixby button

Those that wish to remap the Bixby button can do so by going to Settings/Advanced Features and looking for the Bixby button option. From there, users can pick any app provided by a third-party and which is already installed on the device and opt if they want to press the button once or twice to launch the app.

Bixby was first introduced on the Samsung Galaxy S8, and it has become a staple of the Galaxy S series. Bixby is exclusive to Samsung devices, making an appearance on other smart electronics from time to time.

Bixby offers three core components

Bixby Voice handles a variety of tasks and can convey lots of useful information, including calendar events and memos. A great highlight is the ability to use short commands to perform specific tasks faster.

Bixby Vision can use your camera to provide useful information, translate a text on the spot, and scan QR codes among other things.

Last but not least is Bixby Home, which is placed on your home screen and delivers important updates on demand. It is likely that Samsung will strive to improve the assistant in the future.
