Yesterday Samsung started rolling out Google’s latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system to Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + in the UK. However, the South Korean tech giant is now doing the same thing in the US. With that said, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + users are advised to keep a close eye on their notification panel because the new operating system should arrive at any moment now. In addition, the update can also be manually triggered by accessing the “Software Updates” panel in Settings.
The exciting thing about the new update for Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + is not the plethora of features that Android 9.0 Pie brings, but also the fact that it comes with the new One UI. This is the latest UI (user interface) from Samsung and it looks great. Samsung says that One UI has been specially designed to make it easier for people that use smartphones with massive screens to navigate by using large headers and moving buttons.
