The Burst SMG, a brand new weapon will be soon available in Fortnite Battle Royale, as Epic Games confirmed recently.
Epic Games states that, by updating the Message of the Day in-game, users will be able to access a new item or weapon. Moreover, Epic Games intends to launch a brand new item to the game once a week, while the Hot Spots will be added in the final week’s v9.10 update.
The Burst SMG would be common, uncommon, and rare at the same time
After resetting the Fortnite Item Shop after the update of The Message of the Day, the following message will appear: “FORTNITE QUIZ: A minimum of 2,000 V-Bucks to be won every week”.
In the Fortnite 9.10 update, data miners disclosed the Burst SMG, and the rarities and stats of the weapon are being thoroughly listed on Storm Shield One, a data mining website. The gun is available in three versions. It is common, uncommon or rare, and it will administer 23, 24 and respectively 25 damage to the opponents. The Burst SMG will take bullets that are not heavy, and it will feature a 3.4 fire rate and a 20 size-wise in the magazine.
Fortnite Battle Royale 9.10 is already available
This is not a typical case for data miners since it is known that they don’t use to release actual footage of the weapon before it is released to the public. This time, however, a video was posted by a Reddit user, that featured the Burst SMG while shooting. Although the length of the clip is quite limited, it is enough to assert information and identify some precious details concerning how the weapon sounds as it is shooting or how quick is the bursts.
Epic Games already disclosed that the Fortnite Battle Royale 9.10 content update is already available as of May 29th, and users will be able to aces the Burst SMG since it is included in this update.
