Even though Nokia is fairly new to Android, the tech giant is doing a great job of rolling out Google’s latest operating system updates to its most powerful smartphones. Nokia 3.1 Plus received Android 9.0 Pie last month and now, the smaller Nokia 3.1 is next in line to receive the major operating system update. The update is being rolled out OTA (over the air) and we advise all Nokia 3.1 Plus users to download it via a stable Wi-Fi network.
Nokia 3.1 Gets Android 9.0 Pie
The new update introduces a plethora of features that Nokia 3.1 users are going to enjoy. Not only that, but Android 9.0 Pie also enhances the user experience of Nokia 3.1 by introducing a redesigned user interface, new navigation gestures, adaptive brightness and adaptive battery. Therefore, Android 9.0 Pie is a high priority download and Nokia 3.1 users should get it as soon as possible.
Now that we went over the latest operating system update for Nokia 3.1, let’s check out what type of hardware specs and features this smartphone to offer in order to refresh our memories. Without any further ado, let’s jump into it.
Nokia 3.1 ships with a 5.2-inches IPS LCD display which puts out a pixel resolution of 720 x 1440. Furthermore, the display offers a pixel density of 310ppi and it has been coated in Corning Gorilla Glass in order to increase the protection against scratch and cracks.
- Internal Hardware
While the massive display might be nice, the most important hardware part that Nokia 3.1 has to offer is an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 CPU which clocks at 1.5GHz. The mobile processor is paired to a Mali-T860MP2 graphics processing unit and 2GB/3GB of RAM. To top it all off, Nokia 3.1 is equipped with 16GB/32GB of storage space which can be expanded up to 256GB.
