New Important Features to Be Added to WhatsApp Soon

According to WABetaInfo, some new features are coming to WhatsApp soon. They will be added in the upcoming 2.19.10 iOS update, even though we don’t know exactly when this will happen.

What are the new features that will be added to WhatsApp?

The new update brings stickers on images, videos and GIFs, a new “reply privately” feature for group chats, as well as other exciting features. Let’s take a look below at what to expect:

  • “Reply privately” feature

Thanks to this new feature, you will be able to reply privately to messages that you receive in a WhatsApp group. In order to do so, you must hold down the message you want to reply to from the group chat and then a “reply privately” option will appear on your screen. Afterwards, all you need to do is to tap on it and the app will immediately open a private chat window.

  • Ability to manage grouped stickers

At the moment, whenever you want to send two stickers in a chat, WhatsApp is automatically grouping them in a row. However, thanks to the new update, from now on you will notice a “Message Info” option for a specific seat sticker every time it’s grouped with another sticker. Also, the update will allow you to forward or delete just one sticker, without needing to select the other one as well.

  • Stickers on images, videos and GIFs

Once WhatsApp gets updated to the newest version, you will have the possibility to use any sticker on images, videos and GIFs. So all you will have to do is to select the multimedia that you want to send and then tap “add stickers”. This can be done by tapping the emoji icon located at the top of your screen. Apparently, you will have the opportunity to choose between Emojis, Personal Stickers and Content Stickers.

  • 3D touch actions for status

In case you have 3D Touch technology activated on your iPhone, the new update will allow you to preview status updates that are being published by your contacts.
