Sony’s PlayStation 5 Will Have A Massive Rival In Microsoft’s Xbox Two AKA Xbox Scarlett

Microsoft seems to have a bag of crucial elements prepared for the launch of the upcoming Xbox Two aka Xbox Scarlett that will reportedly make sure the console is a huge success.

Xbox Two vs. PS5

It looks like the Xbox Two could give the PS5 some trouble once both consoles are out.

Express.co.uk notes that Microsoft is preparing something pretty interesting for the launch of the Xbox Two in 2020.

The Xbox One was a distant second to the PS4, and this was arguably due to lack of must-have games, but it seems that things are about to change.

The online publication mentioned above notes that “Microsoft has been over-reliant on established exclusive franchises like Halo, Gears of War and Forza during the current console generation. With exclusives like Bloodborne, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spider-Man and God of War to its name, Sony’s PS4 lineup is far more exciting.”

This was reportedly an essential reason for the success of the console compared to the Xbox One.

Microsoft will shift focus

As we said, this will change with the upcoming Xbox Two because Microsoft will be moving its focus to innovative adventures that will have a focus on the story.

At least, this is what a new recruitment video which was posted by Microsoft studio The Initiative said.

“The Initiative is a new game development studio located blocks from the beach in sunny Santa Monica, CA,” the studio explains.

They continue and say that “Our Mission is to create ambitious and innovative game experiences that our audience will love. We are passionate about craft, creating stories, and building the next big thing in gaming.”

Positive feedback for Microsoft

The feedback was a really positive one, and people were more than excited after seeing the video.

Someone said “The bar is pretty high… so PLEASE deliver some  “Cinematic – Action –  Single Player” GOODNESS!!!”

Another enthusiast commented “Excellent pedigree. Can’t wait to see what you all create! See you soon!”
