We are waiting forward to playing Sims 5. Pretty much everyone on this globe is waiting forward to that. After all, it’s the most anticipated game of the year. We don’t have an official release date so far, but according to leaks and gossips, 2019 might be the year! The last Sims game of the series was released in September 2014.
We all expected Electronic Arts to make an official statement about the date of the release during E3 2018. However, we didn’t get that. We are now expecting the company behind the game to make an official statement about the release date during the E3 2019 event.
It’s true, The Sims 4 was one of the amazing simulation-based video games ever, but the game couldn’t please everyone. Everyone loved The Sims 4 for its graphics and originality and, of course, for all the new features. But people were not pleased with the fact that it lacks content.
The loading screen was also a problem; nobody likes that! We hope that the problem will be solved with Sims 5 and that Electronic Arts will understand that the loading screen ruins the gameplay experience. We’ve seen in Sims 3 some parenthood features that didn’t appear in Sims 4 – we want them back for Sims 5.
With every new game, we get to see an improved overall look, thing that we also expect for Sims 5.
So when’s the release date?
The company usually has a plan: a five-year gap between the games. If we are to take a look at this plan, the next game should be made in 2019, but probably 2020 is going to be the official release date.
The biggest gaming event from 2019 in E3 and we expect to see the company announce it there. It will take place in June 2019.
