9to5Mac comes with some fun news. It seems that the past weekend marks that latest case of a company which decided to promote its high-quality products by tweeting an ad from an iPhone.
We’re referring to none other than Samsung. They tweeted a promotion for their Galaxy Note 9 but…via Twitter for iPhone.
This happened when Samsung’s Nigerian Twitter account shared the tweet which was highlighting the Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s AMOLED display. The tweet was spotted by tech reviewer MKBHD, as reported by 9to5 Mac.
Since he spotted this funny tweet, Samsung has not only deleted the tweet, but they ditched the whole Samsung Nigeria account, as you’ll see in the photo below. How funny is that?
The account was previously hosted at @SamsungMobileNG, but now that account is nowhere to be found.
By the look of things, the Nigerian Samsung account is the only one that made such a mistake. The Saudi Samsung account also shared a similar tweet via Twitter for iPhone.
And here’s another thing worth mentioning: the iPhone XS Max’s 6.5-inch OLED display has generally been regarded as much better than the Galaxy Note 9’s panel, and this observation made the tweet even funnier and weird at the same time.
Well that's one way of dealing with it 😭 pic.twitter.com/9rDrqMwqlm

Samsung is working on a fix for the Galaxy Note’s camera issues
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is the company’s flagship phone, and it’s selling at about $1,000. The price tag doesn’t really mean that the phone is immune to all kinds of issues, and it’s far from being perfect.
One of these issues was reported by SamMobile: the camera is freezing while they’re taking pics or is lagging while they are recording videos.
Samsung acknowledged the problem, and they are currently working hard to find a fix:
“Our specialists have given us the directive that an update is coming out to fix this issue specifically. However, due to us being unable to speculate on the release of future updates, I don’t have an exact date for when to expect this,” a Samsung moderator noted in the company forum.
