The year has just started but it seems that tech lovers have a lot to look forward to.
One of the most awaited events is the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10. A new leak hints an interesting design choice for the series.
Earlier in 2018 the company teased new display designs. One of them was the Infinity-O display which premiered on the new Samsung Galaxy A8. Recently, a third-party accessory retailer released a video which shows what seem to be screen protectors for the new Galaxy S10 and S10+ models. In most cases these leaks are minor, offering little to no information. But this time something was odd.
At one point in the video viewers can observe that one of the screen protectors seems to be flatter in comparison to the other models. The curved edges have been present on every Samsung Galaxy model since the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge was first released.
While the Edge models seemed to be more popular in comparison to the normal ones, Samsung may opt to release a more conservative version for those that don’t like this particular design. Rumors claim Samsung is currently working on four S10 models and a flat screen one may be a part of the group.
The Galaxy line will be 10 years old in 2019 and Samsung is working hard in order to deliver an impressive product that will make the anniversary special.
Samsung Galaxy S10 will pack bleeding edge features like an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, a powerful Neural Processing Unit, Qualcomm’s brand new Snapdragon 855 and 5G compatibility among others.
It is likely that Samsung will also offer a budget version called Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite but the device remains shrouded in mystery.
Some sources claim that Samsung will reveal the new models during the Mobile World Congress which takes place in February 2019.
