Forbes Has A Better Alternative To Samsung’s Galaxy S10

If you were hurrying up to buy the Samsung Galaxy S10, you might want to reconsider things, at least, for the moment.

Forbes’ Gordon Kelly admits that even though he’s a huge fan of the new line of Galaxy S10 phones made by Samsung, “the smart money says you should wait for the Galaxy Note 10.”

He continues his piece by offering readers the reasons why it’s worth buying the latter instead of the phones mentioned above.

Performance

Samsung took a performance shortcut with the whole Galaxy S10 range which Forbes’ author called “hard to swallow.”

Every phone comes with the UFS 2.1 storage, despite Samsung announcing the commercial availability of UFS 3.0. This is twice as fast and more efficient, and it lets the battery drain.

The tech giant has already confirmed that the Galaxy Fold will come with UFS 3.0 when it launches in April.

They also said that all the Samsung flagships will come with this next-gen storage from now on.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S10 family of phones were not included, and this is quite a shame. It would have been great if these models sported full cutting-edge tech.

Security

Regarding security, here what the Forbes author has to say: “the Galaxy S10 actually has worse facial recognition than its predecessor and tests this week have revealed it can be fooled by almost anything. Galaxy S10 models have so far been unlocked with a photo, a video, and even a sister!” No comment.

The solution is reportedly to rely on the new Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader or waiting for the next Galaxy Note 10.

Pricing

Needless to say, the Galaxy S10 is quite expensive, and Kelly advises readers so wait a bit before hurrying up and purchasing the phone right away.

He reminds readers that the Galaxy Note 10 is less than half a year away so maybe it’s worth waiting some more.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S10 family of phones also have their amazing features; there’s no doubt about that.
