We have some great news for all Fortnite fans out there: the “14 days of Fortnite” are back for a limited time! Now that Epic Games has brought back these rewards, players have another chance to unlock them.
Players on all platforms can now enjoy the 14 Days of Fortnite challenges again
The holiday-themed event is now live again and it can be played on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, PC and mobile devices. Given the fact that developer Epic Games made a mistake before, by announcing the wrong end date for the event, it is now giving fans the event back, for one more week. Players have now another chance of unlocking any rewards they couldn’t get last time.
When is the event starting?
The event will begin on the 15th of January, at 12 am PT / 3 am ET / 8 am GMT. The 14 Days of Fortnite challenges will be available to players throughout the whole week of the event. They will have the possibility to bring to an end any tasks they couldn’t complete the first time and also to unlock their rewards. Still, keep in mind that any progress from before, on challenges that were only partially completed, has been reset.
What happened with the event before?
The 14 Days of Fortnite first started in December last year and it lasted for two weeks. Each day, players had a new challenge to complete and a new reward to unlock. But there was some misunderstanding amongst the fans regarding the day when the event was supposed to end. Because of this, many of them thought that they didn’t have enough time to complete the challenges. Epic Games admitted that it gave the wrong date for this event and then offered to give to each player who had at least one challenge completed out of the 14 the Equalizer glider for free. However, the company later said that it will bring back instead the whole event for a week.
