SHAREit Will Get More Content After Teaming Up with Hungama Play

SHAREit and Hungama Play now have a partnership that should allow SHAREit to bring more content for its users. Ever since SHAREit decided to expand and become an online content platform, the company made sure that users have plenty of content available.

Hungama is an Indian digital entertainment company. By teaming up with it, SHAREit users will be able to access Hungama Play as well. They will be able to choose between ad based video on demand (AVOD) and SVOD (subscription video on demand).

Thanks to the partnership, SHAREit will now have different genres of movies and short films, as well as long and short videos. Hungama Originals are also added to that list. Siddhartha Roy, chief operating officer, Hungama Digital Media declares, “Our partnership with SHAREit will help us add a widely popular platform to our existing customer touchpoints. We are certain that SHAREit users will enjoy and appreciate our multi-genre, multi-lingual and original content library.”

Expanding the content library

This new decision adds even more content to the SHAREit app. The application already has numerous online videos and playlist and it comes with various features such as the option to download stickers and GIFs.

Adding videos in different genres, formats and languages represent a step forward for SHAREit. It will allow the app to expand its user base in all tier markets: Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3. Regional content from Hungama Play will be added to the list of benefits of SHAREit.

“SHAREit is building a strong content platform, our partnership with Hungama Play will benefit users across India who will get access to a wide range of content in various languages that they can enjoy. We currently have over 400million users in India and our aim is to offer quality entertainment content,” declared Jason Wang, CBO SHAREit – Global Expansion and Strategic Partnerships.
