The Elder Scrolls 6 is the game that the entire world is waiting to launch ever since Bethesda revealed the 30-second video announcement teaser at E3 last year. Even though a couple of good months have passed since the game was announced, Bethesda has kept shut on any details about The Elder Scrolls 6 and we are left only with rumors and speculations.
Gaming forums are buzzing with excitement about The Elder Scrolls 6 and the most asked question is when will the game launch? While this question might be difficult to answer right now since Bethesda has yet to reveal an official launch date, many believe that the game is going to make a surprise appearance in 2019.
The Elder Scrolls 6
The primary reason why so many people believe that The Elder Scrolls 6 could arrive this year is because Bethesda’s latest game called Fallout 76 was a major flop and it made Bethesda look lazy. Fallout 76 is basically a bad copy of Fallout 4 and this made fans of the franchise angry. Therefore, releasing The Elder Scrolls 6 faster would be Bethesda’s way of redeeming itself. Unfortunately, this is not likely going to happen.
Long Development Process
“The Elder Scrolls 6 is kind of like the elephant in the room, always, when we talk about anything. And you know, I think it’s good in these moments to tell our fans yes, of course we are working on it – it’s something we love – but it is…you know, I have to be careful what I say, it’s a very long way off,” said Bethesda’s Todd Howard in a recent interview.
2020 Release Date
Even though fans of The Elder Scrolls franchise might want the game to arrive in 2019, this is probably not going to happen. Bethesda’s safest bet is to wait for the next-gen consoles to arrive in 2020 and to launch The Elder Scrolls 6 at the same time with them.
