Bethesda has revealed at E3 2018 conference the new sci-fi game named Starfield which is currently into development. The news is exciting if you think that Bethesda hasn’t come with a new IP in 25 years since Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and many others.
The announcement came from Todd Howard, the executive producer at Bethesda studios, who said that Starfield is in a playable state. That means that the developer team has completed a part of the game.
In other news, Bethesda posted a job ad for a voice designer to join the company. Thinking about The Elder Scrolls 6, we believe that the voice designer from there is stuck on the job, so for the new game, Starfield, they need another man. Bethesda is well known for the voice-acting in its games, but we think that now the company is focusing on the performance in Starfield.
Starfield Release Date Might Happen In 2020
Even if the Starfield is in development, we won’t see it any time soon. The company has announced that both Elder Scrolls 6 and Starfield won’t be launched at the E3 2019. On the other hand, rumors are saying that both games will be released in 2020 at the next E3 alongside the next-generation consoles.
Finally, the Vice President of Bethesda, Pete Hines, has declared in an interview with The Telegraph that now is not the right time to announce these two games. He said that even if the fans are still asking when the Elder Scrolls 6 is coming, they have two games to work on.
The idea is that Bethesda wants to try something new and different from the other games, so the idea is that the next game to come is Starfield. The game is a new IP, a new single-player role-playing game, and after things are done with it, The Elder Scrolls 6 will go next.
