Even though Samsung has revealed its highly anticipated Galaxy S10 yesterday, the smartphone’s price goes up to $1,500. The flagship smartphone is super expensive and not everyone is willing to spend so much money it. Fortunately, there are older flagship smartphones that can still be used as daily carriers to this day. The best examples of this are the original Google Pixel and Samsung’s Galaxy S7 which both were made available for purchase back in 2016. With that said, let’s pin the two smartphones against each other and see which one comes out on top.
Display Technology
Samsung is renowned for using the most powerful hardware available on the market whenever it designs a new flagship smartphone. Therefore, no one should be surprised to find out that Galaxy S7 is equipped with a 5.1-inches display that uses Super AMOLED technology. If we take a look under Pixel’s hood, we are going to see that this smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm 821 CPU which clocks at 2.15GHz. This CPU is paired with the 4GB RAM and an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit.

The two smartphones offer impressive hardware specs that make them viable to be used as daily carriers to this day. However, Galaxy S7 is the smartphone that comes out as the clear winner in our short comparison. Therefore, Samsung fans who don’t want to spend up to $1,500 on the new Galaxy S10 can always pick the older Galaxy S7 instead.
