The Samsung Galaxy A8s has been recently unveiled in China. The smartphone comes with an Infinity-O display, sporting a bezel-less display screen and a tiny hole for the front camera. So with the new design, we can easily see that the notch trend is slowly being let go of.
Samsung Galaxy A8s specs
The dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy A8s comes with the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and has a 6.2-inch full-HD+ display. When it comes to the processor, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core SoC paired with the Adreno 616 GPU. The device offers two different options of RAM: 6GB and 8GB. The internal storage of Galaxy A8s is 128GB.
The smartphone sports a triple rear camera, as well as a 24MP selfie camera. The device also packs a 3,400mAh battery that offers fast charging support.
What you need to know about the design of Samsung Galaxy A8s
As we’ve mentioned in the beginning of the article, Samsung Galaxy A8s sports the Infinity-O display, having a hole on the top left corner of the screen for the selfie camera sensor. Also, there are no bezels on all sides of the phone, which is great. On the back of the device we can notice a triple camera setup, which is positioned vertically – in the center of this system we can see a fingerprint scanner as well.
At the bottom of the smartphone we can notice the microphone, the speaker grille and the USB Type-C port. On the left edge of the device we have the SIM tray, while on the right edge we can find the power and volume buttons.
How about the price?
The price of Samsung Galaxy A8s is around $435 in China and the phone comes in three different color options in China: Black, Blue and Green.
