Ubisoft finally decided to divulge the first details about Operation Phantom Sight. A few days ago, the company revealed some teasers during their panel at the Rainbow Six Siege Season 9 Pro League Finals that took place in Milan, Italy.
As soon as tomorrow, Operation Phantom Sight will have its first test server launch. Unfortunately, this will only be available for PC users. If you can’t contain your curiosity until then, here are some new screenshots of the gameplay, followed by a link to the first official trailer of the game.
New Details On Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Phantom Sight Revealed
Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Phantom Sight brings exciting new features. It will include a brand-new Attack and a Defender, a remodel of the map of Kafe Dostoyevsky, which is located in the center of Moscow. Even more, Rainbow Six Siege will deliver more exciting features in Year 4 Season 2, including Reverse Friendly Fire. Updates will also be made to the Rainbow Six Siege storefront and the Ranked playlist.
The new season presents Nøkk and Warden, trying to redefine gathering of intel. Nøkk will be equipped with her FMG-9 and SIX12-SD, while also using her HEL Presence Reduction instrument, helping her to swiftly move between enemies and not be detected by any cameras or drones.
Warden will improve his vision by making use of his Glance Smartglasses. Those will offer him the ability to see through smoke, while also making him immune to any flashes, but only when he stands perfectly still. He will be armed with his M590A1 and MPX.
Besides these two recruits, players will also gain the ability to explore the remodeled map of Kafe Dostoyevsky. With the goal to diversify the gameplay, there have been made important modifications to the current map, including the redesign of the first floor, new bomb sites on the second floor and more exciting updates.
