Even though there are many browsers that Android smartphone users can pick from, we are advising everyone to give Opera a try. This is one of the most powerful browsers for Android powered smartphones and to make things even better, it also ships with a pre-installed VPN service that comes free of charge. With that said, today we are going to take a closer look at the latest update for Opera which arrived recently.
Opera Beta 52.0.2502.138878 Update
The new update sports the beta 52.0.2502.138878 build number and it is being rolled out via OTA (over the air) channels to all users who are enrolled in the beta program. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that only beta users can access the new update.
Opera users who are not interested in joining the beta program but still want to access the latest features and software tweaks that the new update brings can always download the update in the form of APK (android package kit) and then manually install it on their smartphones.
What’s New?
Right from the start, we want to note that this is a high priority update. This means that we are advising all Opera users to download it as soon as possible. The reason behind this is that the new update introduces two features that Opera users have been asking for a long time.
The first feature is the option to save documents as PDF files. While this might not be some groundbreaking feature by any means, it’s still nice to have. The second feature that the new update introduces brings some changes to the UI (user interface). After installing the new update, Opera users will notice that the Tab gallery in the UI has been updated to look better and to be more intuitive.
