Six months have passed since Google has released Android 9.0 Pie and the operating system has started arriving at multiple smartphones. While the top-end smartphones of Samsung and Huawei have been the first ones to “snatch” the update, Nokia 3.1 Plus is now the next in line to get the new operating system update. HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia, has announced today that Nokia 3.1 Plus is scheduled to receive Android 9.0 Pie starting today and that it will introduce a plethora of useful features.
Nokia 3.1 Plus Receives Android 9.0 Pie
For those who are out of the loop, Android 9.0 Pie is Google’s latest operating system and it introduces lots of features and tools that take the Android user experience to the next level. Everything has been improved in Android 9.0 Pie starting with the UI (user interface) and ending with the launcher. Nonetheless, the update is being rolled out OTA (over the air) and we advise all Nokia 3.1 Plus users to download it via a stable Wi-Fi network and not via mobile data because it’s quite large in size.
