Huawei fans can rejoice after this latest news that has been released.
Enthusiasts already know that Huawei’s P20 Pro and Matte P20 Pro had the best camera hardware of all the smartphones in 2017, TheNextWeb notes.
The tech giant was able to combine some pretty reliable and versatile software with a massive camera sensor and triple lens setup that remained unmatched so far.
The P20 Pro was able to maintain its number one spot of DxOMark until the P30 and P30 Pro were revealed, according to the same online magazine.
Huawei’s new camera is a game changer
The tech giant seems to have decided that it’s time to raise the bar even higher than before with the P30 and P30 Pro and they created the coolest camera that has ever been on a smartphone.
According to Huawei, this is definitely a game changer and TheNextWeb agrees.
The online publication also makes sure to note the fact that it’s a pity so much about the devices has been leaked by now because the impact of the achievements flaunted by the tech giant is smaller due to this.
Best features of the camera
“First is a telephoto ‘periscope’ lens that allows for 5x optical zoom – meaning little to no sharpness degradation,” they note. Even if this is not Huawei’s idea, they’re still the first ones to make it a reality.
The magazine continues and says “the P30 Pro‘s telephoto is equivalent to a 125mm lens; it’s probably the first honest-to-goodness telephoto lens on a smartphone.”
Huawei also said that by using 10x “hybrid” zoom (they are referring at the fact that the camera is combining optical zoom with data from the other sensors) there’s virtually no degradation.
More than that, Huawei is also using a new type design called a “SuperSpectrum sensor.”
This will reportedly capture much more light than ever before.
We recommend that you head over to the original article to check out the plethora of improvements that Huawei made to create what more analysts are already calling the best camera on a smartphone.
