Thanks to the most recent Inside Xbox video that was broadcast by Microsoft, we’ve found out that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is soon coming to PC and so is Halo: Reach.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC has been confirmed
Microsoft has officially confirmed that Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to PC. The release structure is quite different than what we’re used to, as the tech giant is planning on releasing every title from the collection separately, starting with Halo: Reach – the newest addition to the package. The successive titles will be then released by the company in chronological order.
No details about the prices of each individual game have been offered yet, but it seems that the whole package on Xbox One sells for $30. Apparently, Microsoft is bringing the games to Steam as well, so Halo: The Master Chief Collection will not be launched only on the Microsoft Store.
Halo: Reach is joining the collection
Microsoft has listened to the fans’ feedback and it has announced that Halo: Reach will also join the Master Chief Collection. This title will be available on Xbox One and on the PC edition that has just been announced.
Fans can expect to see the campaign and multiplayer elements, such as Forge and Theatre, but also the Firefight mode that everyone likes so much.
As far as the pricing is concerned, owners of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Xbox One will get the multiplayer mode for free. The company will charge, however, for the campaign and Firefight mode. How much that will cost, we don’t know yet.
Those who have an Xbox Game Pass, though, will be able to get the entire package for free, at no additional cost.
We definitely had some exciting news coming from Microsoft, so fans must be really happy to hear about all of this.
