Considering the fact that GTA V is the bestselling game ever made and that it’s still generating profits for Rockstar Games even though it was launched in 2013, we think it’s safe to say that the entire world is waiting for GTA VI to arrive. Rockstar Games is a big company and it didn’t want to be known as a “one trick pony” and therefore, it decided to start working on Red Dead Redemption 2 instead of GTA VI.
Even though GTA fans were upset to find out that GTA VI is going to arrive later than expected, the wait is worth it because Red Dead Redemption 2 is an incredible game that gives players a chance to live their childhood dream of becoming an outlaw cowboy and robbing trains. Nonetheless, now that Red Dead Redemption 2 is out of the way, the next title from Rockstar Games is going to be GTA VI.
GTA VI is Coming Soon
The first thing that we want to say about GTA VI is that the game is going to be announced soon. Rockstar Games usually leaves an eight year gap between its games and since GTA V launched in 2013, we believe that GTA VI is going to be announced in 2020 and hit the markets in 2021. However, we might get lucky and leaks about GTA VI could start pouring out starting this year.
Female Protagonists
There are lots of rumors about GTA VI, but the one that is most likely to prove true is that GTA VI will feature a female protagonist. Rockstar Games has received lots of flak for the way women are portrayed in the GTA universe and what better way for Rockstar Games to clean its name other than to introduce a female lead that is voice acted by a famous Hollywood movie actress?
