What better way to start off the week other than to receive an important software update for your favorite Android feature? Google is always releasing new updates for the features which are vital components of the Android operating system and the Google Play Store is the latest one to be updated. This latest update for the Google Play Store has yet to be released through OTA (over the air) channels and all Android fans who want to download it will need to do it manually.
Google Play Store 13.8.16 APK
The new update for the Google Play Store sports the 13.8.16 version number and it can be downloaded in the form of APK. This update format stands for “Android Package Kit” and Google uses it every time it releases a new update. Installing APK updates is fairly simple and the only thing that Android users need to do in order to make their smartphones compatible is to enable the “Unknown Sources” option which can be found in the Settings panel of all Android powered smartphones.
System Reliability
As everyone already knows, the Google Play Store is the place where everyone goes to whenever they want to download a new app or mobile game. Therefore, the system reliability of the Google Play Store is really important because no one would be able to download the apps or mobile games that they love to use if this feature stopped working.
With that said, the new 13.8.16 APK for the Google Play Store introduces a handful of software tweaks that take the feature’s system reliability to the next level. Some of you might not like the idea of having to manually download APK updates and we understand that. Luckily, Google is also planning to release the update via OTA channels, but this is going to take at least one more week.
