The Elder Scrolls 6 is one of the world’s most anticipated games with a massive fanbase created by previous titles such as The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. The hype for this game skyrocketed when Bethesda released a short teaser that confirmed the game is in development and that it will be arriving soon.
What the teaser failed to mention is the game’s expected release date. Fortunately, a notable game analyst has made his prediction for The Elder Scrolls 6 and the release date is closer than expected.
Game Analyst Predicts The Elder Scrolls 6 Release Date
Before we get into the release date prediction, we need to go over the analyst’s track record. Michael Pachter is a game analyst that is known for making right predictions. The analyst predicted that 2018 is going to be the year when Call of Duty gets a Battle Royale (true), that Nintendo Switch sales will go under 20 million units (true) and that a new Elder Scrolls game is going to be teased (true). These are just some of the analyst’s predictions so that you can get an idea of why his opinion matters.
Nonetheless, this is what Michael Pachter had to say about The Elder Scrolls 6: “The flop of Fallout 76 makes a hit more essential for Bethesda, and I expect them to accelerate development of ESVI. (This was my prediction from 2016 and 2017…)”.
2019 Release Date
From the looks of it, The Elder Scrolls 6 might arrive in 2019. Fallout 76 was indeed a massive flop and the public’s perception of Bethesda is at an all-time low. Therefore, hurrying up and releasing The Elder Scrolls 6 in 2019 or at least showing gameplay footage is the next to redemption for Bethesda. Let’s just hope that the game analyst is right.
