Spoiling the highly expected E3 2019 event, right before it starts for real, rumors and leaks keep flooding the web. If we were to judge how the E3 conference will be based on all the suggestions and confirmations we got regarding numerous new games, we would say that it would be quite a busy event. We tracked all rumors that seem legitimate and later allegedly confirmed, and listed them all here.
Top Games Confirmed To Be Presented During E3 2019
Destiny 2 & Baldur’s Gate 3
First and foremost, Bungie has officially unveiled Destiny 2 for Google Stadia, and the fact that cross-save support among all consoles and PC is supported. The game studio has also revealed that Shadowkeep is game’s next extension, it will be launched in the fall, and that the base title is going to be free.
Another huge rumor stating that the Baldur’s Gate 3 is being worked on has allegedly been confirmed by the game studio behind the game, Larian, with a teaser uploaded on the company’s official page involving the number three. If this edition really comes, it will be a massive surprise as the Baldur’s Gate 2 was released in 2000.
Watch Dogs Legion
A third rumor that’s been confirmed concerns Ubisoft’s renown game Watch Dogs, which will get a new edition coming with the name of Watch Dogs Legion. The game release was one of the biggest surprises the game studio had on its sleeve for the E3 2019, but an Amazon UK listing spoiled it.
Later on, Ubisoft confirmed the game by uploading a short teaser, which suggests that the gameplay will take place in the UK.
Death Stranding
We all know that Sony won’t participate at the E3, but at least one of PlayStation 4’s favorite first-party games will be displayed and announced before the show. After a tease from Hideo Kojima, Death Stranding has been numerously mentioned in PlayStation’s Twitch account.
As said in an apparently mistaken Facebook post from PlayStation’s Taiwanese account, Death Standing’s PS4 launch date is scheduled for November the 8th, 2019. Aside from this, the pre-order page for Death Stranding on the PlayStation was available for a while, inveiling the pre-order bonuses. These posts were removed, but are still visible on Twitter.
Infinity Ward’s Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019
It appears that the game will come with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare title, and it has been confirmed to be announced at E3 2019. The game is also already playable.
Following the set rotation, Infinity Ward has been announced to be the game’s developer. Besides the confirmations that Call of Duty will include a standard single-player setting and co-op gameplay, the game studio hasn’t declared anything else regarding the upcoming title. The release date is scheduled for October 2019, it will feature cross-play and will have no season pass.
