Less than two months after its official global release, Brawl Stars has managed to enter the top 10 chart for worldwide revenue. This news comes from Sensor Tower, which is a mobile market research company.
Brawl Stars has gathered $50 million in just one month
Supercell’s most recent game, Brawl Stars, was launched worldwide in December last year. Now, thanks to a report for January released by the aforementioned market research firm, we know that this multiplayer mobile game reached the 10th position in the company’s top-grossing apps across the globe.
It seems that Brawl Stars has managed to gather more than $50 million in January alone, which is an incredible amount, especially given the fact that 2018 was not such a good year for Supercell.
This is a first for Brawl Stars
According to the report from Sensor Tower, Brawl Stars is the only game that wasn’t present in the top 10 so far. The game ranked 13th on Apple’s App Store and eighth on the Google Play Store. You can take a look at the charts that were shared by Sensor Tower below. The first one shows the top 10 mobile games by worldwide revenue for the month of January, while the second one illustrates the top 10 mobile games by worldwide downloads.
Overall, the game is estimated to have gained $110 million in revenue since its global release in December 2018, which is a staggering amount.
What other games were present in the top 10 ranking
If we take a look at the first chart, we can also see that a few games improved their rankings from the previous month: Lineage M, Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle and Candy Crush Saga.
On the overall worldwide download chart we can also notice that the hyper-casual game Color Bump 3D is making its debut on the first position. Another new game is Polysphere, which ranked second in the App Store downloads.
