Grand Theft Auto fans are still expecting the upcoming game of the series. However, Rockstar has maintained quite a mystery. There are no official details, and we don’t even have a release date for Grand Theft Auto 6. In fact, there isn’t even a confirmation that the game will be released.
It is simple to understand why GTA fans are anxiously waiting for some new information. Grand Theft Auto 5 was released more than five years ago. Players still have GTA Online, and there are constant updates there. However, GTA 6 is still something needed in the gaming community.
Release date
Usually, there is a four or five years break between Grand Theft Auto games. Therefore, 2018 would have been a likely release year for GTA 6. However, we already know that this isn’t going to happen. Nonetheless, a 2019 release will definitely make sense.
Characters
The GTA 5 were highly popular among fans. Nonetheless, the next game won’t feature them (although we are hoping for some camoes). Many users hope that there will be a main female character in GTA 6.
Location
There are several theories connected to the location where the game will be set. Many seem to believe that London would be a great idea. However, the head writer at Rockstar Games, Dan Houser, doesn’t agree:
“GTA London was cool for the time. But games were more limited then. These days I think we would love to set a game in the UK, set in London, whatever, but I don’t know if it would be a GTA game.”
Many fans believe that the upcoming GTA game will make a return to Vice City. For those who can’t remember, the last time we visited the city was back in 2002.
