Apple will hold an important event on the 30th of October and ahead of it, Ming-Chi Kuo, the reputable analyst, had something to say. Apparently, he shared some details, stating that we can expect Apple to reveal some surprises and what he thinks we will see from the company in late 2018 and early 2019.
iPad Mini
According to Kuo, Apple will release a new version of the iPad Mini since it didn’t have an update for several years. The device will come with an upgraded processor and a panel of a lower cost.
The analyst doesn’t know if this device will be announced during Apple’s upcoming media event or if the news will come later on, at the end of the year or early next year. It would make sense, however, that Apple will share news about the iPad Mini during an event meant for the iPad Pro.
iPad Pro
Kuo said that we should find out more about two new iPad Pro versions, which will come with improved screens, USB-C, and a redesigned Apple Pencil. He didn’t comment any further about what we should expect from these improvements.
Mac models
The event at the end of October should come with new Mac updates. These should involve improvements to the processors and other internal revisions. Kuo also said that we should expect a low-cost notebook as well as updates to the iMac, Macbook and Mac mini.
AirPods and AirPower
The AirPower and new AirPods are also said to come either later this year, or sometime early in the first quarter of 2019. If the AirPower is scheduled in 2018, we might find out about it on the 30th. It is meant to charge three devices at the same time.
