Links to a teasing campaign have begun to appear on Google’s social media accounts, suggesting that its new phone will be officially announced very soon, and a small online puzzle leads to a photo of a phone with a hidden design and the said date of 3 August.
Why is this model so important to Google? Because last year’s Pixel 3a and 3a XL proved to be very successful models in the market, helping to increase the company’s mobile division. Priced at about $ 400, that model offered a camera with performance comparable to that of the standard Pixel 3 model, with unmodified Google software and average hardware that provided a pleasant user experience.
The mid-range model will be equipped with slightly outdated hardware
