Everyone’s excited while waiting for Samsung’s next flagship phone the Galaxy S10.
Samsung will launch the Galaxy S10 series during its Unpacked event. There will be three new models that will target various customers.
We recently reported that Samsung’s new flagship might be on its way with something that would massively support the whole crypto space – an integrated wallet for cryptos.
Recent leaks have been talking about four cameras at the back instead of three, and the cheapest variant has a different name. The online publication also says that its name is the Galaxy S10 Lite and not the Galaxy S10E.
Samsung Galaxy S10 will support Wi-Fi 6
The regulatory filings from Samsung that have been spotted by Droid Life revealed that all the three models of the upcoming phone would come with support for the new Wi-Fi standard.
The sad thing is that almost no one has a Wi-Fi 6 router these days and you should definitely have one in order to try out the Wi-Fi 6 improvements.
It’s also important to know that Wi-Fi 6 does not come with colossal speed gains for individual devices either.
This is supposed to improve performance in homes or Wi-Fi networks where there are a ton of devices connected.
The Verge just noted that “There haven’t been many Wi-Fi 6 devices so far, but the Galaxy S10 suggests that could be about to change. The phone likely comes with Qualcomm’s new top-of-the-line processor, the Snapdragon 855, which includes support for Wi-Fi 6. That chip isn’t being widely used yet, but it should end up in many of this year’s flagship Android phones, bringing some of the first Wi-Fi 6 devices to the market.”
Three phone models expected to launch
Anyway, we cannot wait for the end of the month to enjoy the announcement regarding the Samsung Galaxy S10.
Three models are expected at launch: a standard S10, a larger S10 Plus, and a lower-cost S10E. A 5G version is also likely to get launched later on.
