Motorola continues to launch the Moto G9 series with the new “Plus” model. It is positioned on a higher level of performance, being equipped with significantly more powerful hardware, but also at a higher price. The phone was presented in Brazil, but it will certainly reach the rest of the countries where Motorola operates, the previous variants of the Moto G series being successful models in most regions.
Moto G9 Plus is the top model of this range of mid-range phones
Unlike the Moto G9 Play, which is a budget smartphone with basic specifications, the Moto G9 Plus is a kind of “flagship” of this budget series. The phone comes equipped with a large 6.8 ”screen with Full HD + resolution and a subtle cutout in the upper left corner for the front camera. Inside, the phone integrates the mid-range Snapdragon 730G chipset, with 4G modem and very good performance for the usual use cases.
The configuration is completed by 4 GB RAM, 128 GB internal storage, a fingerprint sensor on the side, in the Power button, NFC; headphone jack and a large 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging at 30W. Of course, the phone comes with Android 10, and because it is a Motorola model, the Moto G9 Plus will not have “aggressive” interface customizations, but will keep the Google interface of the operating system.
However, the camera system is an average phone, with many sensors, but few really useful. We are talking about a 64 megapixel sensor for the main camera, wide, we have 8 megapixels for the ultra-wide camera and two 2 megapixel cameras: macro and depth.
