This week seems to be one of fast charging, after Oppo and Vivo presented 125W and 120W power supplies, and Honor would even prepare a 200W one for gaming laptops. Now Xiaomi is also on the wire, preparing a phone with a 120W charge for launch in August.
In fact, Xiaomi was much more advanced than its rivals, making demos with 100W charging since 2019. They did not bring that technology to the commercial level though. Now, however, we discover a smartphone codenamed M2007J1SC, which has received 3C certification and comes with a 120W charger (20V-6A Max) in the box. Thus, Xiaomi has moved to the next level after charging at 100W last March. Such an adapter could take a 4000 mAh battery from zero to 50% in 5 minutes and to 100% in 10 or 15 minutes. The Xiaomi phone would be a 5G model and a possible derivative of the Mi 10 series.
It could be Mi 10S or Mi 10S Pro and usher in the Snapdragon 865+ processor for this brand. I also found out recently that the Chinese company would work on a phone with this CPU and a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. I expect a camera similar to the one on the Mi 10 Pro, with a 108 MP main sensor, along with a 12 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and an 8 MP one with 5X hybrid zoom, possibly even more than that. Not for nothing but it is rumored that Xiaomi would prepare a phone with 120X zoom … but that is most likely Mi CC10.
