If you enjoy downloading apps and games on your Android powered smartphone, then we have some great news for you. Google has released a new update for the Google Play Store which is the app and games hub for Android users. This is a major update and it focuses on enhancing the stability of the Google Play Store by adding a handful of software tweaks and bug fixes.
Google Play Store 14.0.33 Update
The new update for the Google Play Store was released two days ago and it sports the 14.0.33 version number. The update is available right now, but there’s a catch. Google has released the new update in the form of APK and this means that it won’t be rolled out OTA (over the air) and instead, all interested Android users need to manually download and install it on their smartphones.
Android Package Kit
For those who are unfamiliar with APK (Android Package Kit) updates, then all that they need to know is that this type of updates can only be installed on Android powered devices that have the “Unknown Sources” option enabled. Luckily, enabling this option is fairly simple and all Android users can do it from the Privacy panel which can be found in the Settings menu of their smartphones.
What’s New?
As previously mentioned, the new update for the Google Play Store focuses on improving the stability of the service. Google knows that millions of people are using the Google Play Store every single day and this is why it made sure to introduce a bunch of software tweaks that optimize the service’s UI (user interface) which in turn offer a premium user experience to the millions of Android fans. Not only that, but the new update also comes with bug fixes that take care of known issues.
