Just a few days ago, Samsung accidentally published two images showing the Galaxy Note20 Ultra model, its next top smartphone. However, it seems that the phone already “exists”, and someone has already gotten his hands on it, publishing on the internet some real photos with it. The design is thus confirmed, being largely identical to what we saw in the first images. However, the only notable difference is the color, the model photographed now being black.
The phone has already reached the hands of some users
A series of photos with the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra was posted on the Twitter account of a user named “Jimmy is Promo”. It also has a YouTube channel, which deals with guides for Samsung phones, so there is the possibility to have the necessary connections to get a phone before launch.
The new photos do not reveal anything really new compared to the previous photos. Probably the biggest news is that the screen is not very different from the one on the Galaxy Note10 and S20 series. Samsung will not yet integrate the technology that hides the front camera under the screen, also using a small hole in the center.
The camera system is exactly like the one we saw in the first photos. The cameras are framed in three circles of identical size, even if the third camera, with zoom, has a square lens. In fact, the camera is framed in a slightly more elegant module than the one on the Galaxy S20 Ultra model and also includes a 3D TOF sensor.
However, the new model seems to adopt a design with less curved edges for the display and a very thin frame around it. We can also see that the power and volume buttons are moved from left to right, as in the case of the Galaxy S20 series. At the software level, Galaxy Note20 Ultra and the standard Note20 model will be delivered with Android 10 and the new One UI 2.5 interface.
Galaxy Note20 Ultra will be released in less than a month
The phone has already been tested by the FCC in the US, which suggests that we are approaching the launch. The FCC reveals that the phone will be compatible with most US bands, both 4G and 5G, and will use Wi-Fi 6. In terms of wireless charging, the phone will be compatible with 9W charging. Jimmy is Promo also says that the audio speaker and the S-Pen stylus will move to the left on the Note20.
The launch is expected on August 5, in an exclusive online event. Traditionally, the launches of Samsung’s Galaxy Note series took place in New York.
