Renders with Samsung Galaxy Watch’s successor have just been leaked by well-known leaker @OnLeaks. Based on the pictures that were posted online, the upcoming device could have a more refined design than the previous models.
Samsung Galaxy Sport will most probably replace the Samsung Gear Sport
Even though Samsung released the Galaxy Watch not long ago, a new smartwatch is in the making. The rumored device has been codenamed “Pulse” and it is believed that it will launch as Samsung Galaxy Sport. Judging by what we see in the leaked images, the design of the watch seems to fit more with the aesthetic of the Galaxy S phones. The etched edges that were characteristic to the Samsung Gear Sport are no longer present in this model. The Galaxy Sport is believed to replace the Gear Sport and we can expect to see angular edges in Samsung’s next smartwatch, which will clearly contribute to a much nicer design of the device.
Leaked pictures of Samsung Galaxy Sport give us an idea about what to expect
As @OnLeaks has mentioned in his Twitter post, the renders are based on factory data, which means that there is quite a big possibility that the official wearable’s design will be pretty close to the renders that have just been leaked.
Also, based on the leaks, it seems that we will not see a rotating bezel anymore. When it comes to the features, we definitely expect the digital assistant Bixby to be one of the main ones. As far as the rumored specifications are concerned, the watch is expected to come with Tizen and not Wear OS. We might see 4GB of RAM, which may sound like too much, but it’s always better to have more memory. We don’t know when the wearable will be launched yet, but more details should follow soon.
