Is there any better news that a smartphone fan can receive other than that a new operating system update is coming their way? With that said, Redmi Note 6 Pro users were quite upset when they started receiving MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM version 9.3.14 that is based on Android 9.0 Pie only to have the update canceled by Redmi. To make matters even worse, Redmi didn’t want to reveal what is the reason why it decided to cancel the update or to announce when the update will start rolling out again.
Redmi Cancels Android 9.0 Pie Update for Redmi Note 6 Pro
The update was released last Friday and everything was going fine until Redmi decided to cancel it. The patch notes for the MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM version 9.3.14 showed that the operating system introduces a bunch of bug fixes for live wallpapers that are displayed on the lock screen. However, it seems like Redmi has forgotten about some bugs because there isn’t any other reason why the tech giant would cancel such a major operating system update.
Expected Roll Out Date
If there is something that we can be sure about, then it has to be the fact that Redmi is working on the update right now. The Chinese based tech giant probably overlooked some bugs and it will roll out the stable version of the Android 9.0 Pie based operating system once it patches those bugs. We estimate that this is going to happen later this week.
