Pokemon GO players are about to receive some major updates really soon. A huge event is on its way, and we already received some details. The December Community Day is announced to be a major celebration, probably the biggest one we had so far.
The development team offered us more details about this special event. It took a little longer to get these news, and this is probably because the company did not want to distract fans from the Let’s Go Pikachu game.
The December Community Day
The team already confirmed that the special December Community Day will have every Pokemon species from the previous year. The event will begin this Friday, November 30, at 1 p.m. PST, and it will end on Sunday, December 2, at 11 p.m. PST. This means that there is not much time available, so you need to make sure that you make the most of it.
The Pokemon will appear in the wild during this event, and all the featured moves from previous Community Days will be available as well. Numerous Pokemon will return, including Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, Eevee, Dratini, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Mareep, Larvitar, and Beldum. You will notice that they will show up more often in the wild.
There will also be special bonuses which will be available for three hours in each region, and this has already been confirmed by Niantic. The bonuses will include Double Catch Stardust, Double Catch XP and more. These are the official times:
- Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: December 1, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. UTC (GMT +0)
- The Americas and Greenland: December 1, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8)
