Apple hosted a big event two days ago where it revealed a couple of new subscription services. Even though the Cupertino based tech giant might be focusing on software this year, this doesn’t mean that Apple has yet to forget about its iPhone lineup. After all, this is still the company’s main source of income. The latest iPhones that Apple launched all featured sleek designs and powerful specs. Therefore, the expectations are high for 2019’s lineup and Apple needs to deliver on these expectations if it wants to stand a chance against Samsung’s Galaxy S10.
iPhone XL
Industry experts are predicting that Apple is going to change the release pattern for iPhones and introduce a bigger device called iPhone XL. Ming-Chi Kuo is a renowned KGI Securities analyst who somehow manages to stay two steps ahead of Apple and he believes that iPhone XL will feature a massive 6.5-inches OLED display and that the device will be available in the following color variants: black, white and gold.
Rumored Specifications
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, iPhone XL will be fueled by the latest A series processor. This is the most powerful and power-efficient mobile processor available on the market and its performances will be able to take out some of the battery strain that the massive OLED display causes. In typical Apple fashion, iPhone XL’s processor is not going to be paired with lots of RAM. The KGI Securities analyst is reporting that iPhone XL’s A series processor will ship alongside 4GB of RAM.
Expensive Price Tag
Since this is Apple we are talking about, no one should be shocked to find out that the 6.5-inches iPhone XL is expected to cost somewhere between $899-$999. The price might even go higher for the premium versions of iPhone XL that ship with more internal storage space.
