Huawei is coming up with a new design approach for its future foldable flap; Another patent appears
Right at the end of November 2019 we find out that Huawei wants to launch on the market a foldable smartphone with a flap, one in Samsung Galaxy Z Flip style and with a more attractive price than the one worn by Mate X / Xs. I was also seeing a patent for the phone at the time, and now there is a new design variant that the Chinese company could apply to the future flip phone to which the rumors associate the name Huawei Mate V.
The new patent was published in China by CNIPA and we see quite large changes compared to the previous model presented in the form of sketches here. First of all, a cutout now appears in the equation in the upper area of the foldable screen from the inside – for hosting the selfie camera, the sensors and the earpiece for calls.
Huawei Patent The phone also has physical volume and power / unlock buttons on the side, and another change takes place in the front area where we discover an elongated photo model that includes photo sensors and what appears to be a small external display for checking notifications. The previous patent did not have such a display, but nevertheless offered a cleaner and simpler look. Unfortunately, we do not have other data associated with this patent and as you can see, the phone represented here is very thin. We do not know exactly when Huawei could launch such a smartphone on the market, but at first glance this proposal looks promising.
