GTA 6 Update: Exciting News For Gamers Following The E3 Rumors

You probably already know that the online space is flooded with GTA-related rumors and most of them are coming from various online sources more or less trustworthy.

Rockstar Games has been reportedly linked to revealing something at the E3 2019, and this was a report that has given fans a genuine hope of a surprise involving a GTA 6 reveal, says Express.co.uk.

The online publication notes that this is not something that we know with 100% certainty that will happen, but they say that Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, has gone on record to say that they are willing to back new tech emerging in 2019 and 2020.

Potential launch platforms

On the other hand, there hasn’t been any news on when massive games such as GTA 6 will be coming, but there’s still a hint on what the new platforms it could be launched on.

The most recent rumors have been suggesting that the game will be released on PS5 and Xbox Two.

The game will be a hugely ambitious project, and for this reason, it’s less likely for it to run on the PS4 and the Xbox One due to hardware restrictions.

But, what remains a fact is that Take-Two Interactive is interested in new tech launching in 2019.

GTA 6 to arrive on Google Stadia as well?

The online publication notes that during a recent company earnings call, CEO Strauss Zelnick made it clear that the company was interested in the new Google Stadia service.

They also noted that with GTA 6 expected to be released in 2020 or beyond, we could probably expect it to arrive, not only on PlayStation and Xbox platforms but also Google Stadia too.

“We’re very optimistic about the notion of streaming technology bringing our titles to consumers who currently do not have access to them,” Zelnick said.

He continued and explained that “The promise of being able to sign on to a service with virtually no barriers; without a box in between, and being able to play our games on any device whatsoever around the world and to do it with low-latency, well, that’s very compelling if that can be delivered.”
