The first patch for Forza Horizon 4 is now live, addressing a host of issues and performance problems, while also fixing many of the issues reported by players.
One of the most pressing problems was a frequent graphics bug where changing MSA from 2x to 4x will lead to LOD render issues, and the only way to fix it was a game restart. Major FPS drop were also reported on machines’ that were not meeting the system requirements for the selected quality settings, and the spikes have been eliminated for many lower-spec machines.
Forza Horizon 4 has been well-received by gamers and reviewers alike, as the game received positive ratings from many reviewers. Most agree that the game is a refinement of that entire made Forza Horizon 3 great, while also offering amazing visuals and top-quality sounds. Immersive features like the robust and customizable career mode are back with even greater opportunities available.
Some fans feared that the online, open world where the only other cars are driven by players may not fit well in to the game but that was not the case. Even if your internet fails, the game is able to switch seamlessly into offline mode, without losing any progress.
