Even though Samsung is always one of the first tech companies to get its hands on the latest Android operating system updates, the Android 9.0 Pie rollout has been quite slow. Fortunately, Samsung is not wasting any more time and it has announced that Galaxy Note 9 units which run on T-Mobile’s network have finally received approval to get Android 9.0 Pie.
Galaxy Note 9 Gets Android 9.0 Pie
Before we start things off, we need to mention that unlocked Galaxy Note 9 units have already received Android 9.0 Pie a couple of weeks ago. Even though people who purchased their Galaxy Note 9 from T-Mobile had to wait a little longer, on the bright side of things the waiting is now over. The major operating system update is being rolled out OTA (over the air) and it weighs in at 1671.6MB.
This is a big update and we advise all Galaxy Note 9 users to make sure to download it via a stable Wi-Fi network and not via mobile data. The reason behind this is that the big update will use up all the mobile data. In addition, the smartphone should have at least 50% of battery charge so that the installation process for Android 9.0 Pie doesn’t get interrupted.
