How To Clear Cookies For One Site In Chrome Browser

Clear Cookies For One site

Almost all websites today have a cookie policy, which you’d have to accept entirely, or manage the exceptions. But what if you want to clear cookies for one site in your browser without interfering with or deleting all your browsing history?

If you use Chrome or any other browser to surf the web, most of the sites you visit will place a cookie on your device to collect data about you and your activities. When you no longer want cookies on your computer, clearing the cache removes all browsing history.

When you delete cookies in your web browser, it takes care of issues like slow loading of web pages, 400 bad request errors, influx of ads that store cookies, and suspicious websites or forms.

This means you will no longer sign into websites automatically, and such sites won’t have your customized preferences. Similarly, if you use two-factor verification for specific sites, the fact that the cookies were deleted means you have to set it up all over again.

If you use Google Chrome browser, for example, on different devices, deleting the cookies from the browser on one device doesn’t delete them from another. Cookies are device-specific.

Additionally, if you use multiple web browsers on one device, for example using Chrome, Opera, or Firefox, deleting cookies from one web browser doesn’t remove them from another browser.

You can’t have the same cookies shared between browsers on one particular device.
