WhatsApp Not Working on Latest iOS Update

WhatsApp is a messaging app owned by Facebook which has been suffering on iPhones since the latest update. Apple devices which run in iOS version 7 or even older might no longer support this app.

However, if you already got you WhatsApp installed on your iPhone 4, it should do until 2020 when this gets discontinued. If you ever delete the app, you will no longer be able to re-install it and access it again, according to the Mirror.

The same source also mentioned that this app working on older iPhones would not get updates or new features anymore and there is a possibility for certain existing features to stop working. Are they doing this so users would update their phones and offer them more revenue? Maybe yer maybe not. We never know their strategies, but we can speculate.

The company has claimed in a previous blog post, and they claim that this will not be a very serious issue until 1st of February 2020 when Whatsapp, the messaging app will no longer be functional on iOs versions 7 and older.

In addition to this, Whatsapp has even started working on devices such as BlackBerry OS, Nokia Symbian S60 and Windows Phone 8.0 and older.

One reason might be that everybody should evolve along with the technology and as long as new phones with affordable prices and better features and specs are being released, why would not they change their phones, right?

Until now no scandal took place in the media regarding this decision, but we can’t say it will remain the same for 2020. Maybe everybody will change their phone in two years, and no scandal will take place, and the world will be happier.
