The Elder Scrolls: Blades Won’t Come This Year

It appears that Bethesda has decided to postpone the release date for The Elder Scrolls. We can’t really blame them especially since the release of Fallout 76 had its problems. The Elder Scrolls: Blades was supposed to come out this fall, but it appears that it will be delayed until 2019.

The game is a mobile one and it brings together everything that fans of the Elder Scrolls loved about the game series. It is a single player game which uses the style we are accustomed to. It was surprising to learn that the game will be released this fall, especially since the announcement was made at E3 2018.

Postponing it

A recent tweet announced that the mobile game will be launched at the beginning of 2019: “The Elder Scrolls: Blades will release in Early 2019 for iOS and Android devices. We are incredibly excited for you to play Blades and you can still sign up for Early Access at https://t.co/uuFPob6YWJ.”

If you are excited for the game you should head over to the link in the tweet and sign up for Early Access. A demo of the game was already tested this summer by Polygon, and we have numerous reasons to be excited for its release.

“It’s more linear, claustrophobic and limited. In widescreen, the limitations are obvious; but when played in one hand, I can imagine how this game will fit into the daily routine of commuters and folks who like to fiddle with a mobile game while watching TV,” explained those who tried the demo. It was also named “the most expensive mobile game that plays best vertically ever made.”

The Elder Scrolls: Blades will be a great source of entertainment for those who are waiting for the next Elder Scrolls game.
