Rockstar Games “Confirms” That GTA VI is in the Making

Now that Red Dead Redemption 2 has been released, we think it’s safe to say Rockstar Games has started working on GTA VI. The latter is the most highly anticipated game in the world and considering that GTA V has broken many records when it comes to units sold, Rockstar Games doesn’t have any reason to keep pushing back the release date of GTA VI. Nonetheless, the reason why GTA VI is making headlines today is because Rockstar Games has started growing its developer team in order to develop an “unannounced” game for the next-generation of Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

Rockstar Games is Hiring!

Right off the bat, the first thing that we need to mention is that the “unannounced” game that Rockstar Games is working on is undoubtedly GTA VI. Leaving this aside, the game developer has announced that it wants to hire more people in order to help with creating a game for the next-gen consoles. Rockstar Games is currently hiring people who excel at creating “next-generation worlds for some exciting upcoming projects”. We should note that Rockstar Games has already expanded its team of developers in India with new positions such as senior environment artist and technical artist.

Next-Gen Consoles

From the looks of it, GTA VI is going to launch at the same time that Microsoft and Sony are going to release their next-generation consoles. According to multiple reports, both tech companies are planning to release their next-generation consoles in 2020. Therefore, Rockstar Games still has two years to keep working on GTA VI until it creates the game that we have all been waiting for.

Conclusion

Now that Rockstar Games has started expanding its team, there is no doubt that GTA VI is in the making. Let’s hope that the company has some major leak so that we can find out what GTA VI has to offer because otherwise, we will have to wait two more years.
